Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. It is a great way to draw attention to those books not yet released but well awaited.
Here is my Seventh Edition of Waiting on Wednesday and it's a bit bigger! I couldn't help myself. There are just too many awesome books I am dying to get my hands on!
IT HAS BEEN FOREVER since I have done this so I figured I'd put a few of them on here for you.... I call this one Waiting on Wed.: The Simon Pulse "Elizabeth" Edition.
Evercrossed by Elizabeth Chandler (Kissed by an Angel #4)

From Goodreads:
It’s been a year since Ivy’s boyfriend, Tristan, died. They’ve both moved on—Tristan to the other side of the afterlife, and Ivy to sweet, dependable Will. Now Ivy’s heading to Cape Cod, hoping to leave the horror of last summer behind. She wants nothing more than to lie on the beach, sip lemonade, and hang out with her friends.
But then a car crash ends Ivy’s life.
As she floats to the beyond, looking down on the life she’s left behind, Tristan breathes life back into her with a passionate kiss. She wakes up in the hospital, surrounded by Will and her family, but all she can think about is the love that she lost.
But memories aren’t all that’s come back from the past. And this time, Ivy’s not sure love will be enough to save her
Why I want it: If no other reason then for I absolutely adored the first of the Kissed by an Angel stories, I totally love the cover and Elizabeth Chandler. They are great quick reads and I have yet to read one of her stories and feel unfulfilled.

Hardcover, 256 pages
From Goodreads:
Abby accepted that she can’t measure up to her beautiful, magnetic sister Tess a long time ago, and knows exactly what she is: Second best. Invisible.
Until the accident.
Now Tess is in a coma, and Abby’s life is on hold. It may have been hard living with Tess, but it's nothing compared to living without her.
She's got a plan to bring Tess back though, involving the gorgeous and mysterious Eli, but then Abby learns something about Tess, something that was always there, but that she’d never seen.
Abby is about to find out that truth isn't always what you think it is, and that life holds more than she ever thought it could.
Why I want it: I adore Elizabeth Scott's novels, it is as simple as that. Not only do I enjoy reading her books, I enjoying *collecting* them. Her stories can be light hearted and slightly intense all at the same time and I love that about her writing.
I have both of these on my list, and I'm dyingggg to read them! Excellent picks this week! :)

@Flippin' Fabulous,
ReplyDeleteDo you...know...what you have done for me???? THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH. I truly mean this from the bottom of my heart. I WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE THAT THERE WAS GOING TO BE A KISSED BY AN ANGEL #4!!!! You've just performed a great service by informing bloggers like me on this update.
But, seriously thanks, because I would've died had I not known. *jumps up & down* I cannot freakin' wait!
