Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. It is a great way to draw attention to those books not yet released but well awaited.
Here is my Tenth Edition of Waiting on Wednesday! This is something I decided to do only every other Wednesday to make room for my new feature Whatcha Think About Wednesday. Because of this, I have decided to give each WOW a theme and to show you at least two books.

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi—pure-bloods—have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals—well, not so much. Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:
Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.
Unfortunately, she’s crushing hard on the pure-blooded Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn’t her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

ReplyDeleteHalf Blood & The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer both sound great! I had not heard of either of them, so now I am totally excited. Of course Clockwork Prince is a must read and I JUST finished Paranormalcy last night! I loved it. Waiting to read it until Supernatrually comes out might be a good idea, b/c otherwise you will have to anxiously wait forever for it to come out like ME!
