On Fab's Doorstep (10)

Originally dubbed In My Mailbox, The Story Siren runs this meme for bloggers to dedicate a post to bring attention to what they received that week.  These books could have been found in our mailbox (or doorstep,) picked up at the library, the store, or received as a gift.

To mix up this up a little I thought it only fitting to give my IMM a different title.

ON FAB'S DOORSTEP

Seeing as I live in the middle of no where and despite how I am acquiring the books they all seem to end up on my doorstep.  So the title only seemed fitting.

  2. Great books! I've been wanting Starcrossed and A Northern Light for like, literally years, but still haven't gotten them! I should do that...

Well, hope you enjoy! Can't wait to hear what you think of them! :)

  3. So have I! I hate how distracted I can get book shopping- so when my mom offered up some books I picked some I've been *trying* to buy for some time.

  4. That's awesome I just bought starcrossed at Half Price books like 4 or 5 hours ago when I went along with others. Those are for next sunday I guess.

  5. Oh how I wished we had the Half Price books store here. Or even Bookmans. We have nothing. So my mom picks stuff up for me and either mails them or brings them when she flies out from Arizona. I'm like a kid in a toy store when I go to visit and I get to hit up the used book stores. I end up mailing several boxes home. Lol.

  6. I love what you did to IMM's name and how you applied it to your blog. You get so many brownie points for creativeness. <3 I wish I had your creativity! :P

I've not heard of ANY of the books your mom bought for you. So I'll have to check 'em out if you review em and see what you think. :) But definitely jealous of your Vixen grab! :)

  7. Kristina- I love to do 'blind searches' or 'grabs' for books. Some of my favorite books are ones I found on page sixty of a "teen" search at B&N or Borders, or a book my mom grabs for me off of the dollar rack at a used book store, or one shoved between two popular books on the shelves. Reading for me got so much more enjoyable when I started doing that.

And thanks about the name, lol. I just wish I didn't live so far out!

  9. I'm reading Vixen right now too and it will probably be one of my top books for 2010. I am only halfway through but it is amazing!
